iOffer.com

I must say your site surprised me. It is not so flashy and visually stunning as a lot of other sites I have seen. I mean that in the best possible way, I actually relaxed when your home page popped up. Please tell us a little about iOffer.com

iOffer began in 2001 as we saw the need for an alternative to frenetic and hyper-competitive web marketplaces. It was clear that people wanted something different, something that was not frustrating, but easy — even fun!

I notice you have a good following already, this seems to be a grass roots thing …

The iOffer site was launched in 2002, and has steadily grown as we’ve helped to foster the relationships between Sellers and Buyers in a venue based on honest negotiations between individuals. And in the past four years, our goal has remained the same: to bring real people together to buy and sell, to exchange ideas and information in an engaging and entertaining manner within a safe and secure environment.

What is “Live Notice?”

Live Notice is a messaging system that will appear when you are logged in and receive a message on iOffer.com related to any item activity you may have. It is a bit like an instant or private message to alert you so you know a subject needs attention. Think of it as a personal secretary.

Does it cost anything to register, buy or negotiate on iOffer.com?

No. iOffer is FREE for buyers. Sellers only pay a small fee when an item is sold. Furthermore, sellers receive a FREE store, are not charged listing fees, have a free gallery slide show, free notices of buyer want ads and of course you don’t pay unless your item sells. We also feature free “Wanted” ads to let sellers know WHAT people are looking for, so that sellers are not guessing. This helps to facilitate exchange.

Wow, that sounds free … I mean great. What if I, as a seller, I wanted to bring more attention to my products? How can I do that?

We do have premium listing options, but we are making available something even better called iOfferLite, and also we have installed Mr Grabber.

Mr Grabber!?

Mr. Grabber is a powerful tool that allows you to bring over your feedback rating and transfer your items from eBay™, Yahoo!™ auctions, Bidville™, Overstock™and Sell.com™. Mr Grabber at iOffer.com is the cat’s pajamas. Really a fantastic way of letting people know you’ve got clout, know your business, and ease people’s minds about using a new trading platform.

I have been looking for a PayPal site that is a little, more down to earth, and I think I have found it at iOffer.com

  1. […] Unwanted presents are as much a part of Christmas as fruit cake. Stinky lotions, suspicious bathing implements, executive toys, singing dead things & unusable gadgets apparently top the list. Because of popular sites that utilize PayPal, such as iOffer.com, you can recycle unwanted gifts by selling or swapping them (instead of waiting until next year like your malicious Auntie Crudelia did). details […]
